I'm out.... Not my cup of tea...... I'll do something else with the others that aren't going..... Or maybe I'll just go back to Kajang that day...
Re: Monash Ball, Anyone?!!
well...to me, attending a ball is more suitable for final year students.. gives u the feeling of going to graduate and this is your final moments with your friends. So, since this is only my 1st year, what the heck! go there for what?

Hmm.... it's not prom though. I guess it's called Monash Ball so that no matter what year you're in, you can join.
To me it's a rare opportunity to actually have fun as a Monash student in a Monash setting XD
A time to let my hair down, dress up, have fun planning for the event, have a good time with friends and PARTY the roof off the ballroom =P

Yeah... My friend won Miss Monash when she was in her first year. Gosh the campaigning we all did for her... All the running around for her heels... We had to find one to match her dress (it's a gold dress and she had it tailored by a friend's sister) and she wanted it to be 4-inches high...
Well if you want to attend Monash ball it's actually best if you go with a group of friends. At least you won't feel so bored.....
Cause from what I've heard in the past few balls, it was handled quite badly... Especially last year's.. OMG on the news scandal...
Well for me, this event is like a waste of money and I'd rather spent the money elsewhere. So for those going, have fun!
Re: Monash Ball, Anyone?!!
I don't know...it depends . For me ,the price is not the issue
Its in 4 weeks time,so I need rm 80
I'll need to save 20 a week,which means save 2.86 a day,which means 1.42 a meal
No problemo.
I'm looking forward to dressing up and going to check out other girls in their expensive dresses and complicated hairdo's
