First topic message reminder :

Ok well it's time to change the ranking pics. Please give your feedback/suggestion on it. =)

As for images, what kinda pics do you all prefer it to be from? Like any particular series/character? And should we
maintain the rank names such as junior otaku, maniac otaku, etc? Or
change it? You can also suggest any other specific detail on the pics. Like what size, shape, color you prefer it to be...

@ publicity team: Anyone else has photoshop skills? Or image editing skills? Because if you all don't, then it looks like i have to do it all. =(

Maybe like all the images are the same in a way that a person is sitting in front of a computer, but as the rank increased the appearance of the person changes as well as the things around it?

I like the idea...but that would be hard to draw/find @___@ lol

I got it from haruhi-chan(nagato's book shelf changes to ero-novels and figurines)

can someone draw that?
this could be a time for us to do something more complicated. stick figurines might work too

Oh yeah, stick figures. They should work well...simple yet effective.

I could give it a try, but I'm not sure if I could draw something at the moment...damn assignment and my lazy ass.

What would be the size of the image, then? like how many pixel X pixel? Use back the older ones(measurement) or set new ones?

Anyway, if you're afraid the people wouldn't like the images, draw about 2-3 sets and ask them to vote.

The image is too big for a rank picture, but I will resize it once I have get it done. This is suppose to be the first rank...human, I think? I still need to add a bit of colours on certain items, add the rank name and maybe edit a few stuff, but please tell me if something like this is okay for a rank picture or how should I modify it. I have saved its template so I can edit it in anyway I want. And if you guys want to continue with this, I need clear descriptions of what are the other ranks should be like.

how about using anime characters of different otaku levels for the tags?
eg : find an anime character who's really an otaku and use it as the tag for the senior otaku level?

Depends on how many of otaku characters we can actually find; we used the anime tags before, didn't we?(Before they turned into stars now D: ) Not sure if we can "standardize" them....

Yeah but those anime characters were chosen because of their looks that fit the rank. Like newbie otaku was Ryoma Echizen from POT. And senior otaku was Kyoya senpai from Ouran.

It's slightly different from what Gin is suggesting.

The problem with the stars are they have something white surrounds them, which do not look too decent when the background is darker(I assume the original background was suppose to be white, so the whites on the stars will not be visible), maybe someone can clean it up or something? Just get any type of program(as long as they are NOT MSpaint because it can't deal with transparent background), do the clean up and save it as gif(to reserve the transparency of the background) Or get another type of icon to replace the stars? Icons are much easier to obtain than the image tag, after all.

Well i've updated the icons to the previous Crown icons that i made previously. So hope you all like it better than those jaggy stars lol.

I did'nt change the moderator and the admin pic to the new set yet though. Dunno if they still wanna maintain their current one, or change it into something similar like the members one.

Also changed the "chatbox" button up there to make it look more similar like the rest of the buttons. It previously kinda looked awkward...

@Legna: That's a cute pic. If your still interested in designing the rest, then maybe we can have a change of rank pics later. ;D
