Which one would you like to watch, GI Joe or District 9?

right.... lol

too bad we didn't hit up the batting cage, then again i might've not enjoyed it

anyway,that was a great place,pasta zanmai, I'm looking forward to my next visit

my family loved the movie, except my dad....

but he's always looking for some hidden meaning behind a movie. If there isn't one, he says it's not good :/

wasn't there a hidden meaning behind the movie? to show how screwed up humanity can be?

heh....the kind of meanings he looks for are those that relate directly with religion. More specifically, buddhism. Probably won't find much there...

knae: got, i help ur dad find buddhist meaning in District 9 XD The meanings are:

!) to take the middle path - don't go off into extremes.
2) treat others as you would want others to treat you. by being quite selfish n self-centred, u might end up destroying more things. (Buddhist teaching: be kind even to your enemies, because if roles were reversed, you would want to get treated right too)
3) Right thought, right speech, right actions (not evident in the movie, and thus, that's how everything/everyone gets screwed)

XD This sure beats doing assignments, hehe.

Overall, I enjoyed the movie and the film technique. The pseudo-documentary style is interesting.
