Japanese talk thread?

Japanese talk thread? Empty Japanese talk thread?

Post by kaede Wed Aug 06, 2008 2:04 pm

Seeing how there are a couple of able Japanese speakers amongst us, as well as some who are highly interested in the language why don't we have a japanese talk thread?

Personally I think that by having conversations as well as positive critiques in a community is one of the best ways to improve our language skills. We can help each other out, have a place to rant in Japanese (cause you know no one else understands us in the outside world) and can have grammatical feedback from each other.

This way, we can also maintain english in every other thread and not have random japanese phrases popping around. I find it discriminating to others who wants to know what was being said but doesn't understand the language, then getting discouraged to post any response in the said threads. =(

So what say you, kaichou and everyone?
