Anime Marathon in Cinema
A group of anime enthusiasts would love to organize a whole-day anime
marathon in the cinema for all anime fans. In order to achieve this
goal & share the pleasure of watching anime on the BIG SCREEN among
fellow comrades, we need to fulfill the minimum quota to fill up the
cinema hall (100 seats).
Please kindly reserve your seats AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
TOGETHER, LET’S MAKE IT POSSIBLE!!!
Here are the tentative details (Subject to change):
Location: Cathay Cineplex Mutiara Damansara at e@Curve
.........(Formerly known as “Cinelesiure”, near The Curve & IKEA)
Seating Arrangement: First Come First Serve Basis.
Day 1: Anime Movie Marathon
Date: 12th September 2009 (Saturday)
Time: 11AM to 7PM
Ticket Price: Early Bird = RM33 (Payment latest by 5th September)
.........On The Spot = RM39 (Subject to availability of remaining seats)
Screening List:
1. Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children Complete (Director’s Cut)
2. Evangelion 1.11 You Are [Not] Alone, Blu-ray ver. (Digitally Remastered)
3. Eureka Seven - Pocketful of Rainbows
4. Vexille
Total Duration: 8 hours (Recess during movie credits)
Day 2: Macross Frontier Marathon
Date: 13th September 2009 (Sunday)
Time: 11AM to 9PM
Ticket Price: Early Bird = RM43 (Payment latest by 5th September)
..........On The Spot = RM49 (Subject to availability of remaining seats)
Screening List:
Macross Frontier (Blu-ray ver.) Episode 1~25
Total Duration: 10 hours (4 minutes recess, every 3 episode.)
Japanese Dinner:
Date: 12th (Saturday) September 2009
Time: 7PM onwards
Location: Outpost Café (next to Cathay Cineplex)
Menu: 3 Menu + 1 Soup (Limited buffet, eat all you can. Foods selection to be advised.)
Price: RM22 per pax.
Trivia games will be play during the buffet dinner to stand a chance to win special gifts.
NOTE:
• Early Birds making full payment by 5th of September will be entitled for FREE assorted goodies.

It's a really good way to introduce new people into the world of anime. Although I admit, the price of it tends to scare people away.

Spending money is one thing, I have to actually sit there for hours just to make the ticket's value worthwhile. I don't think my concentration will be enough to sustain more than 2-3 hours show >___<
