Thread for Cosplay Resources?

Well, we have a thread for Cosplay Group and Cosplay Photos, but not one for help and advice on cosplaying.

I'm guessing we'll have quite a few newbies at cosplaying among our members, so it'll be great if there was a thread where we could get tips on where to get the various accessories as well as suggestions on what characters to cosplay as.
