One-page manga on MONGA?
I didn't really know where to put this thread, so if I put it in the wrong one, I'm sorry. I'm in the editorial board at MONGA, our university magazine, and they're looking for a comic drawn by the students for this issue.
Requirements are:
1. It's one page only (A4 size, I think)
2. Full colour
3. Deadline: Week after mid semester break
4. Nothing indecent, obviously.
5. And of course it must be gorgeous!
If you know anyone who can draw very well, then by all means tell me. I don't really know about the themes though, but I'm quite sure that you can draw almost anything.
Well, it's a good way to put out your work. And a plus is that it's free. We also get to publicise our club in a way, right?
I can't guarantee that it'll get published, but I will make certain however that they do consider it seriously.

Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
wait for the ones who are good at drawing to reply, but it doesn't seem like a bad idea.

I can't draw, but it's a good idea. We can draw short manga about our club. Lol... I can think of great scapegoat stories (you know who I mean).... XD
Lol... I'm just kidding about that. Don't get angry ah Kaichou... Oops...

Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
other than draw i guess we also need someone to write the story for it?

Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
haha not necessarily, the artists could come up with the story on their own, however, if we really want to feel the spirit of "teamwork", we could do with a writer at hand.

Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
I don't mind writing.... Lol.... I should be able to come up with wacky plot.
Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
okay, so emiko as the writer. As for the artist, we'll have to pick between chibimisao, shunnie and nori. Or we just rotate between them for each MONGA issue.

Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
We'll let the artists decide among themselves. But I think it's better if we rotate.

Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
Hmm, I'll have to ask the editors if it's going to be for every issue, but it prob will be.
The theme is either romance or funny stuff (which we're real good at) or both.

Romance...... I think funny stuff would be better...... One page manga aint gonna be enough for romance.....
Re: One-page manga on MONGA?

Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
I didnt watch gintama and I dont have it.... Hey we have to be original in this...... We may not own original anime (though I have a few originals), but we have to have our own original story. Specially for MAOU.
Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
Sounds great, but we gotta remember to stick to the deadline. Did we manage to contact the ppl supposed to draw yet?
