One-page manga on MONGA?

First topic message reminder :

I didn't really know where to put this thread, so if I put it in the wrong one, I'm sorry. I'm in the editorial board at MONGA, our university magazine, and they're looking for a comic drawn by the students for this issue.

Requirements are:
1. It's one page only (A4 size, I think)
2. Full colour
3. Deadline: Week after mid semester break
4. Nothing indecent, obviously.
5. And of course it must be gorgeous!

If you know anyone who can draw very well, then by all means tell me. I don't really know about the themes though, but I'm quite sure that you can draw almost anything.

Well, it's a good way to put out your work. And a plus is that it's free. We also get to publicise our club in a way, right?

I can't guarantee that it'll get published, but I will make certain however that they do consider it seriously.

haha what he means by drawing inspiration from gintama is simply put, have fun and do whatever comes to mind. Lol really? I didn't know that even after I watched it. I thought he wanted to create light comedy or something.

nope, he originally wanted to draw heavy action with the Shinsengumi as the main characters, and in the proper time setting. Then he got bored and started doodling aliens and Gintoki, and ta-da, Gintama as we know it.

Hmm... I see...... I think I'll try to get gintama and start watching.

Yeah, you should. It's really funny! I have episode 1 - 62, and Decade has 75 until the latest, I think. Dunno who has the rest tho...

I've watched it till teh latest, but I'm only keeping 89-106 atm.

anyway, i suggest we try and make it a 4koma type of manga.

if it's 4koma, there's really no need for thought then. Most 4komas are pure random and not really funny, just cute.

Well, lolazue and I have already thought of a story. If you wanna read it, wait for the next monga issue. If we start spreading the story here then it'll be spoiler for you.

Shunkei has agreed to draw. So wait for the monga to come out guys. Hopefully they'll print our manga in the issue.

Plot is already done by lolazue and I. Waiting to send it to shunnie. You can't see it though. We dont want too many people to see it before it comes out.

Woah, I've just read this thread today! I'm so sorry if I was uncontactable (and inactive) >.< I had become a workaholic for the past 6 weeks (plus with the Easter celebrations)...

Just because you're the president, doesn't mean you have to know EVERYTHING related to the club.... If like that then you might as well do our jobs dy la.... Lolz...

Ok, I checked with the editorial board ppl already. Deadline is on the 20th, and once you're done, you can pass it to me and I'll submit it to them, lol.
