One-page manga on MONGA?
First topic message reminder :
I didn't really know where to put this thread, so if I put it in the wrong one, I'm sorry. I'm in the editorial board at MONGA, our university magazine, and they're looking for a comic drawn by the students for this issue.
Requirements are:
1. It's one page only (A4 size, I think)
2. Full colour
3. Deadline: Week after mid semester break
4. Nothing indecent, obviously.
5. And of course it must be gorgeous!
If you know anyone who can draw very well, then by all means tell me. I don't really know about the themes though, but I'm quite sure that you can draw almost anything.
Well, it's a good way to put out your work. And a plus is that it's free. We also get to publicise our club in a way, right?
I can't guarantee that it'll get published, but I will make certain however that they do consider it seriously.

Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
so any hints as to what the story will be? And for the artists participating in this, post the storyboard/comic panels here so that we can run it through some editing (if it needs any)

Lol... It's something related to what we talked about before, but that's all I'm saying.

Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
IMPORTANT!
I just got a message from the editorial board people. Here's what they said:
"Preferred colored with soft colors (light blue, light green... to make the outline stand) but black and white is okay."
Sorry for the late notice, with the deadline being tomorrow and all... =(
Again, I have to remind you guys that it might or might not be published, because it depends on the pagination thingy. But I will try my best to get them to print it!!

Lol.... We'll have to wait for shunnie to finish it. ^^ But we can't show it to everyone here. It's on a need-to-know basis.
Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
I noticed about this topic quite late T.T
Anyway, I'm just wondering...if we could have one-page manga, then maybe we can have a page for arts drawn by Monash students? LOL..I'm not sure if this is a suggestion to the club or to MUSA, and it's totally for my own selfish reason XD Gomen ne~

Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
If I'm nt mistaken, in 2007 the magazine did feature a 1 page comic from students about monash life, like procrastinating 4 assignments and sleeping in lecture halls...it'd be cool to revive it ,but upgraded with shoujo sensibilities. I 2nd that

Re: One-page manga on MONGA?
They did had that. I even knew the artist who drew the one page manga. She's now in Australia. I agree to revive it back. Maybe we can have our club artists to each draw a one page manga and submit it in to the MONGA editors.
