Sunway Animangaki

Hallo, Marsha here. I'm writing on behalf of the Sunway Anime Club, because they are looking for volunteers to help us out during the Sunway Animangaki event which will be held on June 27 and 28. We need people to patrol the hallways and the hall (Sunway MPH) that we will be using on the 2 days. Briefings will be given beforehand, of course, so no worries. There maybe other tasks as well, but we just need people for the security division for now. We need at least 10-12 more people.

Volunteers get some benefits as well, which is a free pass for each day they help out. Tickets are usually priced at RM8 for a day, and RM12 for 2 days. As for volunteers helping out on 2 days, you get a free Animangaki volunteer T-shirt as well, so please do consider. Please respond, latest by June 20. We really appreciate your help.

@k0n: You can always watch transformers on Monday.....

There are 2 hour long shifts from 10am to 6pm, making it 5 shifts in all. You can choose a day, then alternate with the other volunteers, so you can enjoy the event as well. This is if there are sufficient people helping out la... The Sunway Anime Club president didn't really specify the minimum number of shifts a person has to do to qualify for the freebies, so I'll go confirm and post it up here.

Basicly I need to confirm with transport... But I'm definitely going to volunteer for both days.

Well, they have shifts, you can go movie first then come for the later shift or go for the morning shift then go movie later.

Ok people, here's some news. Volunteers will have to work 5 hours a day qualify for the free pass, and then 10 hours over a period of 2 days for the shirt. If you want the shirt without volunteering, it's for sale on that day for RM25 each. If you'd still like to volunteer but can't stay for 5 hours a day, just come along. Let me know when you are free, there are 5 shifts from 10am to 6pm. We will plan breaks in between.

There's supposed to be a certificate of appreciation for all volunteers as well, so please email me your full names, time and day (if you are working certain hours/days only) and contact (Hp no.), unless you prefer to have it all done in the thread itself. I will inform you guys when there are any briefings etc. Thanks a bunch!

It starts at 10am, but if would be good if you can come around 30 minutes earlier before it starts, so we can do a briefing. Might need some extra hands for setting up stuff. Will keep you posted.

As for time shift, best if it follows Kaichou's and in the mornings as I'm likely going to tumpang a ride from him XD
