Sunway Animangaki

First topic message reminder :

Hallo, Marsha here. I'm writing on behalf of the Sunway Anime Club, because they are looking for volunteers to help us out during the Sunway Animangaki event which will be held on June 27 and 28. We need people to patrol the hallways and the hall (Sunway MPH) that we will be using on the 2 days. Briefings will be given beforehand, of course, so no worries. There maybe other tasks as well, but we just need people for the security division for now. We need at least 10-12 more people.

Volunteers get some benefits as well, which is a free pass for each day they help out. Tickets are usually priced at RM8 for a day, and RM12 for 2 days. As for volunteers helping out on 2 days, you get a free Animangaki volunteer T-shirt as well, so please do consider. Please respond, latest by June 20. We really appreciate your help.

Sorry to freak you guys out... I've reworked the schedule, nobody from the Monash delegation (excluding myself) is going anywhere near the car park. You'll be directing the people upstairs instead.

- each person will be briefed, so please show up at least 30 minutes earlier before your very first shift. For subsequent shifts, come at least 10 minutes earlier to the HQ (back of Sunway MPH, 4th floor).

Really sorry for the last minute notification. Caught a flu bug and with the H1N1 scare, I'm under self quarantine for tomorrow so that I won't spread or catch anything icky. Thus won't be able to take on my duties.

I'll try to make it on Sunday, but also depends on how's my "die virus, die" progress tomorrow. Will notify here tomorrow.

Been a busy day at Sunway....er, you're supposed to help the movie guy at lecture theatre 6 to handle the computer, because he's busy with the competitions as well. You may watch a bit I guess, but most important is you watch the audience to make sure nothing bad happens e.g. fights.

@Aki: Hope you'll be ok. Take it easy for Sat, will find replacement.

It was only because SOME ppl deserved it =P

Its a successful event with alot ppl coming in for the event. I wonder how do they manage to pull that off...

@xunli: if you want to do that, make sure have to put extra precautions for your figurines.

@calyn: Yea we need a playpen with necessary toys so you will not get bored and does not cause harm on others and on yourself XD

It's the great cooperation of their fellow club members. To make an event as successful as that, everyone has to be very very very very (note the emphasis on "very") cooperative. Not only must the members give their opinions, they must also assist in every way possible. Not just giving suggestions but not wanting to act on it.
